Las Madres of Morgan Hill Playgroups, Inc. is a non-profit organization for parents and young children. We are an entirely volunteer organization and the groups are organized by the year in which the children are born.
The heart of Las Madres is our weekly playgroups. A playgroup is a group of parents and/or caregivers and their children who meet weekly at a member's home, park, or other location for socializing and playtime.
We welcome parents from all walks of life and hope to represent the diversity of our community. Most of our members are mothers and we extend our warm welcome to dads, grandparents and other caregivers.
Activities include weekly playgroups, a monthly "Mom's Night Out," periodic family gatherings and community service projects. We also plan field trips, family holiday celebrations and guest speakers or classes.
You are welcome to join us for up to a month as a courtesy member to decide if this is the group for you and your children. During this time you will be provided with a complimentary Newsletter with a Calendar of Playgroups and other events.
